Bioinformatics Scientist

My role as a bioinformatics scientist at UCGSL began in late 2016. To help the lab produce the best genetic results as efficiently as possible, I perform data analytic side studies to improve pipeline processes and involve myself in routine pipeline maintenance. This includes testing the latest tools and keeping up with the latest research to further aid our computational development. Prior to coming to UCGSL, I worked at biotech company where I played the lead role in the development of a pharmaogenomics clinical pipeline and a microbiome pipeline for identifying infectious diseases.
